We typically recommend against liquid cooling because of the high risk of pump failure. It is the component that has (by far) the highest failure rate, especially over the long life expectancy of this system.

The ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI is a proven, well balanced board in terms of features, build quality and price point. In includes all the relevant features such as PCIe gen5, USB-3.2, USB-C connectivity, decent on-board audio and flexible networking with 2.5GBit ethernet and 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 WiFi.

The Corsair RM850x is a high-quality, modular power supply with Cybernetics Gold efficiency rating and zero-noise mode for when the system is under low-load. It comes with a separate 10 year warranty and can easily power a future graphics card upgrade.
